Thumbnail not showing on blogger post problem solved.

So do you use blogger? If yes then in the new interface you might have a discovered an irritating problem of thumbnail image not showing on blogger post in the home page of your blog, when you publish them.

You might have tried to end this query by searching it on Google and YouTube, but then you come across my post. Right? So today I will tell about 3 solutions for this problem and you will definitely solve it under 3 minutes.

Why this Problem is Occurring?

The reason for thumbnails not showing in blogger is  not known to anyone else and everyone has made predictions for this problem, so I have done some tests to solve this problem and voilà! It solved 100% after the tests.

Now you have to do all these three tests to check whether which one works for you. Don't worry, I will help you in doing this tests. So just relax and read it.

#1 Change https to http.

HTTP stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol and HTTPS is Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. 

There might be chances that blogger supports http over https for images that's why it could be the solution for the image not appearing in blogger home page.

What you have to do is to just search for https://  and change it to http://. 

Note: If you can't find https:// then search for src:// and change it into https://.

This might can solve your problem for this bug. Check by refreshing the home page of your blog if it's appearing or not. If the problem still occurs, then try the next method.

#2 Add Alt Tag to the Image and Change the Size to Original.

This could be the solution for this problem. There might be chances that blogger is unable to decide the information of that particular image and not showing it.

To resolve this just add a alt tag to your image. To do this just add the image in your post by clicking on the image icon and in the alt tag area paste the title of your post.

Then tick the size of the image to ORIGINAL and update it. Now publish it and refresh the home page of your blog and check if the image is appearing as the thumbnail. I think after doing this could solve this thumbnail not appearing bug in blogger.

If the problem still occurs then try the next method. This will really and finally solve the problem.

#3 Add a Feature Image in Blogger Post.

Now, you have tried above mentioned steps but the problem still occurs right? Then you have to add a feature image in your blogger post.

What is a Feature Image?

A feature image is an image that is feature somewhere and it is not necessary that the real post contain that image.

Let's think of an example. Whenever you open YOUTUBE then you see plenty of videos appearing in the home page. Which one would you click? You will definitely click on something that has an engaging and attractive thumbnail. If you click on that video that is, say, appeal more to you, there might be chances that the video will not contain what you see in the thumbnail. I hope you have now understood what a feature image is.

Now the real question occurs, HOW TO ADD A FEATURE IMAGE IN BLOGGER POST?

It's very simple if you do it step by step.

The first step is to upload the image that you want to be in the feature image on blogger. You can create a post and upload the image in it and then publish it. Now check the post in the home page of your blog, open the post and by long pressing copy the url or image address.

Now Revert the post to Draft.

Now open the post in which you want to add a feature image. Switch from COMPOSE VIEW to HTML VIEW. In the top press enter and make that space empty.

Now copy the below code and paste it at that place. 

<img src="URL-Of-the-Image" style="display:none;">

Remember to change the URL OF THE IMAGE with the copied url of your image.

Now save  and publish the post it. You will definitely see that image thumbnail in the home page of your blog.

This will not only increase the user friendliness of your blog but also improve your search engine ranking and your blog will surely rank more in google. 

This problem is very irritating because no one knows the solution for this problem and blogger has not given any statement for this problem. After all I have tried to solve this thumbnail issue and you will also solve it in seconds.
